Stanislaus Food Products is a nationally recognized, family-owned company known for crafting the finest Italian-style tomatoes and sauces for top-quality Italian restaurants and pizzerias.  We currently have an opening in our Marketing Data Department for a Marketing Software Developer.

The Marketing Software Developer is responsible for maintaining our existing marketing database as well as envisioning how to build out new applications, automation, and reporting.  This database is essential to the performance measurements for our Marketing and Sales Teams.  This position will report on-site at our main office in Modesto, CA.

This Position will be primarily responsible for:

  • Providing support and maintenance of applications across multiple technologies and database platforms, including handling repairs, updates, and additions to existing applications.
  • Designing, coding, testing, and debugging new applications.
  • Evaluating and creating reports for our marketing and sales teams.
  • Maintaining data integrity, definitions, and security within the database system.
  • Documenting processes, procedures, and changes for both users and historical use.
  • Handling system and security updates.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. BS degree in Computer Science or similar field, or an AA degree in Computer Science and at least one of the following: 1) Oracle Master Certificate 2) Oracle Certified Professional Certificate, or 3) MS SQL Certificate.
  2. At least 3-5 years of Direct experience in software and/or database development with Oracle, My SQL or SQL Server.
  3. Project management skills, including managing multiple projects at once.
  4. Professional soft skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, initiative, organization, problem solving, analysis and the ability to work both independently and as a team.

Candidate Preferences: 

  1. Oracle Forms/Reports, SQL Plus, PL/SQL programming experience.
  2. Net, C#, Angular, HTML, Java experience.
  3. Microsoft 365 Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate).
  4. Basic Linux skills.
  5. Project Management Institute Certificate, either PMP or PMI-PBA.
  6. Some business-related experience or course work.
