Raw Material Manager - Stanislaus Food Products

Primary Duties:

The Raw Material Manager’s primary role will be to support and build both Stanislaus Food Products and Corto Olive Co.’s global sourcing strategy.  As a valued member of the Operations team, this individual will work closely with our Supply Chain, Operations and Finance teams for both Stanislaus Food Products and Corto Olive Co.

The Raw Material Manager may be responsible for some or all these functions:

  • Manage plant yield performance alongside the VP of Operations and the Director of Operations
  • Oversee daily plant efficiency and the data tracking team
  • Reconcile daily production with forecasted production
  • Source all non-tomato ingredient inputs for all the annual tomato pack
  • Maintain good relationships with vendors and contractors
  • Plan and execute all raw material shipments to meet Stanislaus Food Products and Corto Olive Co. demand
  • Manage non-tomato raw material inventory for both Stanislaus Food Products and Corto Olive
  • Manage commodity and specialty ingredient futures
  • Participate in the development of and manage annual budget for the Operations department
  • Monitor multiple commodity markets, and analyze and report on their impact on the business
  • Optimize ways to continuously improve on quality, cost, and efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, operations, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Proficiency and experience managing projects using multiple applications; MS Office Suite with Excel and Access applications required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and effectively communicate with multiple departments. vendors, customers, and management
  • Must be able to work independently and follow through with deadlines
